Thought Therapy

Politics I have nothing against it and I have everything to say about it. The first time I did vote I was all excited about it(maybe cause I went to an embassy to vote),   exercising   my rights and all that stuff felt so good…but when I think things through two years down the line I know I had no clue of what exactly I was doing. Kenyan elections 2013 ,that’s when I got   a bit of insight into the political web. I keep away from any political views ,first cause am no expert and second cause I am not a politician(I don’t talk much ) and third ,cause my mama told me not to get married to a politician. I may not be Kenyan but my life’s in Kenya and its like home to me…so I had to be concerned when CNN started all sort of rumours about tribal wars.Staying indoors hoping nothing erupts, hearing everyone preach peace as if a war will   erupt at any time if the P word wasn’t said!Anxious times,and I blame it all on politics!! Yesterday I   was looking through some fashion magazines and the thing about me and fashion is that am not that into it,I just enjoy the creative craziness that’s involved in it…to put it bluntly,I don’t read the mag,I just flip through pictures! The section that keeps me glued is the makeover parts,when the before and after pictures of some random strangers   become the centre of my critique…especially when you can hardly recognize the person after the makeovers. The clothes,the makeup,the hair…that’s what makes the difference…those tiny bits of detail. Enough about fashion( am not even into makeup and all that stuff,maybe one day I will but now I would rather keep it au naturel) the page-flipping saga of my day was actually a fruitful one,it got me thinking about those tiny details of my life that if I was to change , I would be able to have my own life makeover.
